Hmmm... FT Lex is reporting today that 2023 saw a major inflow of global #investment funds into the UK's #rental sector... the implication drawn is that the new build-to-rent projects they are backing will squeeze out many small buy-to-let operators by raising expected standards for rental properties, but will also do nothing to expand homes to buy, rendering the 'dream' of house-ownership ever more difficult for younger generations.
Our #housing sector may be changing & becoming more European?
