Funnily, the inner disc looks like a mess. There is so much going on and… we don’t know why 🫠 You can get water in the inner disc in the same way as drying out the outer disc: by pebbles drifting inside the water snow line and then being released as water vapour. This is smth we can hopefully figure out with #JWST also to test how strong this drift is. This in turn also lets us study the way water is delivered to rocky planets.
