#WritersCoffeeClub 11-14: Chekhov's Gun
I plot my stories very, very carefully, and they're full of internal callbacks. I have my own corollary to Chekhov's gun:
Nothing important can ever happen without precedent
I set up every plot point, pivot, & world mechanic in advance. In PoM, probably the biggest one is the magical exploration of memory, mentioned in the second paragraph of book 1, and is the mechanism by which the main conflict of the entire duology is resolved at the end of book 2
