Linux Desktops work perfectly and are perfectly usable for a "standard" user.
BUT, since there is no (or nearly no) commercial interest in selling FOSS equipments and apps, why should anyone invest in advertising and in putting in place a distribution network?
Windows 10 comes to an end and millions of machines will need to be scrapped because they are no longer compatible with Windows 11.
Linux runs perfectly well on these machines and could save a lot of money and resources.
