You have a kind heart and are somewhat misled in the mindful production and harvesting of honey and its byproducts. Beeswax will become infested with wax moths, honey will become slimed by beetles as bees dwindle naturally by fall dwindle disease, etc. If a beekeeper does not use the left behind production, it becomes lost to all, a nasty mess in the empty hive. Propolis is also built up on the wooden ware and must be removed for practical honeybee husbandry. Our job is to educate the public so they are not traumatized by misinformation, as you may have been. At this point in natural beekeeping, bees need beekeepers for both to thrive. A neglected hive generally will succumb to a number of predators and environmental factors. Thanks for caring!
quoting nevent1q…a0yjI’m a little frustrated reading you use honey and beeswax, while advocating for free bees.
Taking their products, which they produce for them selves is theft and doesn’t really make them a free being.
Just mentioning my opinion without offend.
In my point of view bees should not be exploited.
