"More fees to Bitcoin miners makes Bitcoin more secure" This argument is false. They only get 0.16% more earnings which is nothing.

Also why is it important that a monkey jpeg lives "forever"? If nobody wants to store it including you then it probably isn't useful so it is fine being deleted
