I'm with you. I still love video games as an art form, as a medium of expression and entertainment. But every year this industry tries my patience more and more and I'm tired. I'm at a stage where I'm not sure if I'll ever want to work professionally in it again or just keep muddling around with weird, experimental, indie ideas. I haven't given up just yet but I'm a lot less desperate, I'd rather get a boring job elsewhere than work for just any studio. I'm a lot more picky now.
