I’m sad my instance is closing down, and I feel particularly sad that I’ve seen a lot of other small ones close down recently. I want this to be sustainable. I want fedi to be a mutual win, and not burning admins out in succession.

I really liked having a horny, non-creepy space to exist for the year+ I’ve been here. (Thank u, bedtimedrillsgt, I suspect this is A Very Busy Time so deliberately not tagging)

While I look for another instance I also need to assess whether I want to start a blog for my shitpost reviews or risk losing them in future fedi moves. I don’t think my format lends itself super well to a usual blog, but I bet there’s a way to incorporate time stamps by line or something, like how people manually transcribe texts. I’m also concerned people will interact with my content less if it requires switching to a blog. This isn’t any fun if nobody talks to me.

Anyway, that’s where I’m at rn.
