This is not even to mention LA school police, LA airport police, LA port police, and other city agencies that field "peace officers," like Street Services. I don't know if other cities in the county have so many specialized police agencies, but in the City of LA LAPD is only part of the problem. Metro just voted the other day to establish its own PD.
