I just saw a preschool class walking in a line down the sidewalk. Native plants were on either side of them when they reached my house, and the class started asking "what's this" and "what's that" with lots of other exclamations and stopping to look. Teachers sternly hollered "pay attention" and "keep walking" and "keep moving" over and over. No questions answered.

Fuck school.
