Necklace Valley and the Foss Lakes chain just west are two classic hiking routes on the north side of the Alpine Lakes, one or both are also part of a high lakes route between there and the Middle Fork Snoqualmie. Both popularized by the Harvey Manning/Ira Spring book 100 Hikes in the Alpine Lakes.",
