My sweety gave me the Diamine Inkvent Calendar for my birthday. I've used fountain pens a lot from as a child, my dad was really into them, and I found they suited my style of drawing, and just my general psyche.
But up until now I'd never encountered a couple of things.
Shimmer inks I've used for, what a decade or so, and they're still a novelty to me.
The Star Bright Ink in the Noble Fir, wow that's Diamine's extra extra sparkle and it's magnificent. Diamine? You have my attention. I will be very interested in any Star Bright style ink that comes my way in the future!
But scented inks have been around for 100's of years and I've never used or even seen them.
Until now! Day 4 brings us the Forest Gateau and it's a pleasant sort of juice of black cherry ink, and it's scented, and it's not really an artificial scent, more an inoffensive fruit maybe with chocolate hints scent.
