Christi Junior (npub1rjh…uefa) Rasterman (npub1e8v…s7yy) Suzu (npub12q6…fm4d) smokescreen (npub1c05…qs25) Protestantism is in a very weird spot. The Mainline protestant sects seek to vaguely emulate the hierarchical structure of the Early Church in their ecclesial outlook, but their approach to doctrine and dogma has just gotten progressively more and more lax, to the point where it's unrecognizable as Christianity. Especially because they broke one of the fundamental rules of ecclesial hierarchy: /do not/ ordinate women into the clergy. Mainline Protestantism today looks like a satanic parody of Christianity.
Evangelical Protestantism, by contrast, though its theology is very diluted from what's seen in the Early Church, and though its ecclesial practice is so utterly revolutionary that it doesn't follow the Apostolic pattern, at the very least the Evangelicals have great zeal for the social and moral dogmas of the faith. Though evangelicals are too lax on divorce and contraceptives.
