cats get really distressed if they can't hide their poopies and female cats get extra distressed if they can smell their own pee in their litterbox
and teaching the cat to do this will dovetail in nicely with the ship's cat storyline
in fact, i'm wondering now, cos it got me thinking about old school ships toilets, whether i could actually have a boat with one of these old school style non-chemical toilets, and where do i find ships that are big enough to navigate across to brazil from here without spending over $30k
