Immahnoob (nprofile…ada0) lightning is too slow at first, and doesn't scale well until you have the nodes with mana shit and archmage and whatnot. Frostbomb/Ice Wall are safer because you can just throw them at the boss and dodge the atacks and mechanics while they take effect.
As for the solo/carry stuff, I have no idea because I'm antisocial and play SSF.
