#universeodon Account search using profile indexing is coming into the main Mastodon branch - we'll be retiring our similar account search so there may be some short-term quirks as we merge these changes.
We're super excited that user discovery if they have enabled their profile to be in discoverable is hitting mainline mastodon here soon.
This won't impact our toot search capability - but could address some of the @ mention quirks we've had since the fix for that is in this PR we'll be rebasing against.
You can control this discoverability by logging in, going to preferences -> profile and selecting or de-selecting the suggest account to others option.
