protesting the tourists themselves is dumb (protest your lawmakers and the Catalan landlords, they're the ones doing this), but there's a physical reality of any place that if some significant amount of the world's population wants to move into it during a three-month period, keeping that space available for them will make it impossible for people to afford to live there during the other nine months of the year.
