During the lockdown phase of Covid my husband and I befriended a family of geese near us- Fred and Ginger and their five goslings, all of whom we named Ryan. We visited them every day and fed them fruit from our hands until they grew up and flew away. Every time we see a Canada goose now we tell them to say hi to Fred and Ginger. I miss them still and I haven't seen them since fall of 2020.
