But in civilized countries rights of the weak are protected by the rule of law, without the need to spill anybody’s blood. For a short while this was true also for international relationships, where the right of humanity of not being killed by nukes was defended by the words on paper of the non-proliferation treaties. But than we went back to trusting weapons instead of people.
