The “everyone has their own version of history” bit just resonates so well. I’m gonna point this out more and more in my day to day conversations around these sorts of topics.

Political conversations on Nostr are terrible. Everyone has their own version of world history and are unwilling to budge. This makes it impossible to carry on a conversation. What’s worse is that some people will use media talking points and phrases word for word without realizing it. And some will outright call you names and tell you to never speak. We’re no different from X or any other platform in that aspect.

I’ll stick to memes and fart jokes since that’s the level of conversation some people can handle.
