Imagine if you will, a version of our reality where the software devs and system, network, and database admins were all in a big old “Computer Toucher Trade Union”, and that union went on strike. The economy would crash within days. Billions of dollars in stock value (the source of the vast majority of Billionaire wealth!) would evaporate like acetone on a hot plate. Such a union would rival the United States federal fucking government for sheer power and influence.
