People always want my opinion. Here it is. I don’t give a shit about graves or bodies. Maybe they’re real, maybe they’re not. The schools have come and gone. All that matters now, and for the last 40 years is Land. Not land “Held in Trust” By the government, for Indians deemed to foolish to manage it for themselves.
Transferring ownership of the reserves from the “crown” to their respective bands would be a start, multiplying the area of each by 10 or 20 would be a strong second.
