One of the reasons I left the course they taught on Friday is that I'd say something, but no one would agree. Then a slide would come up on the projector that essentially said the same thing. And then they'd agree. It's as if everyone present was not there to learn from what the world might throw at you, but to follow the presentation. Maybe the guy who put up the slides wasn't very good at it. That's a possibility. Or maybe people found me irritating. That's another possibility. For me, it was too slow. He spoke slowly, as if talking to children.
