#BookReview for "A Gentleman in Moscow" by Amor Towles
Boring
18 hour audiobook of a guy desperately bored, stuck in a hotel for 30 years. It's just as gripping as it sounds.
Heavily inspired by Les Miserables (with a happier ending) but not as good.
Some clever turns of phrase, mainly around describing inanimate objects as if they were people.
Skips over many key plot points, but goes into obsessive detail on minutiae.
Ending is confusing.
