I'm noticing that the 'life of a post' on Mastodon is very short. Even my most popular posts fade away within a day or so.
This is what it means after all to not have an algorithm, I'm not complaining! But as a contrast, the same post on LinkedIn got traction for literally weeks (and calls from 3 journalists)
It's very reasonable to expect people who follow me don't see most of my posts, so I'd like to think it is NOT bad form to boost my own post. But only once!
Thoughts? Rules? Feedback?
