Probably the most profound one, and easiest to explain:
I had been reading a lot about "manifesting" and synchronicity and trying to grapple with the ideas.
I sat down one afternoon and did a little experiment, and I said to myself, "If thoughts alone can cause experiences in the outer world, then I should see something about memento mori before the end of the day, not on social media." Then I did my best to stop thinking about it. Just that one little thought, and no more.
I chose memento mori because it's a very meaningful concept to me and my philosophy, and also because I had thought it would be very rare to see it in my day-to-day outside of social media.
Well, I walked into work about 3 hours later, and low and behold, one of my coworkers was talking about a memento mori tattoo they had gotten recently.
It's been over a year and I've not seen anything about memento mori in my day to day since then.
I've had a few others, but very personal and difficult to explain.
