Police shooting unarmed civilians kneeling with their hands up yelling "Don't shoot me"? And -- as we both have seen -- the police say "I was afraid he was armed, so I shot him in self-defense" and that is accepted as a sufficient excuse for the police. Not to mention the disproportionate numbers of African-Americans on death row, framed by corrupt racist police, and let down by an under-funded legal defence system. State-sponsored violence doesn't count? Or does it have to be "in the moment" self-defence? Which doesn't really work very well for black people.
