* I don't really agree. It might make the part "git-bisect" does more complex, but I have the same experience testing commits.
* So can a clean rebase.
* I don't know what this means, but you can can git for a one-sided diff with ease.
* rebasing can make actual history and commit history diverge in confusing ways, too.
* That's not been my experience --date-order has always been there for me.
But, I use both rebase and merge from time to time, so maybe I'm just used to the differences
