President Trump stated that BRICS will cease to exist very soon and reaffirmed his threat to impose a 100% tariff on the bloc’s countries if they move forward with the idea of a common currency for foreign trade.
Interestingly, Trump also said he did not know that China was part of BRICS. A few weeks ago, he similarly displayed a lack of knowledge about the group, mistakenly claiming that Spain was a BRICS member.
