If you check the 'shop index' which includes wider retail prices you'll see that that has not 'eased' as much, suggesting there are still plenty of inflationary pressures in the system.
The BoE will claim that's continuing #wages pressure from #workers demands for better pay (to restitute losses in the last decade), but we know its imported inflation & profit maintenance that's behind the pressure(s)
