A close octogenarian relative is in hospital with sepsis, it’s been a rough week. We were told to expect the worst, and encouraged to follow ambulance (£65 taxi!) but things have been going considerably better than expected so we are in that weird limbo of wait and see.
(Not my Mum, apart from her brain mum is disturbingly healthy, which makes things sadder in many ways).
