In my feedback form about the proposal to shut down our newsroom, I might have suggested WBD should instead reduce the layers of unnecessary management, cut the salaries and perks of the Executive jobs, and accurately cover social issues like inequality and the environmental crises, up to and including questioning capitalism itself and giving airtime to ecosocialist and Degrowth perspectives.
They're certainly not going to listen to me, but what are they going to do?
