I have got a new laptop computer which I intend to use just for writing.
And I have done something novel and radical (and note I rarely use block capitals): I HAVE REMOVED THE BROWSER.
If I really - really - need to do any internet-based research when I am writing then I can use my phone or tablet. But by the time I am writing something up, I should have saved anything useful onto the cloud.
I do not need to have a browser to distract me.
So there.
