One of the most thorny challenges in getting a sense of how right-wing minds operate is being able to suspend (for a moment) your own progressive understanding of what the trajectory of humanity should be.

While I found this article interesting, it didn't really dig in deep enough into the psychological underbelly separating what, essentially, are two very different understandings of reality.
