I support this post for the sake of constructive discussion and awareness. It is far too easy for Btc to slip and slide or be corrupted.

As bad as that possibility is, the food news is we can stay on existing or even old versions of btc core.

I do have hope and am more optimistic than doubtful. Bitcoins resilience is amazing but we should not ride those coat tails too long.
