I find it surprising that anyone is confused about Apple's stance in regards to killing web apps.

Apple never cared about privacy. Apple never cared about creators. Apple never cared about freedom of information, or the communities and businesses on the Internet, or even the basic tenets of fair market competition.

Stop falling for the marketing again and again. Apple is a spoiled rich kid that bullies everyone and routinely gets what it wants, all while fanboys defend the bullshit.
