So I did watch #LadyBallers last night and I have to say off the top that men just can't help their misogyny even if it helps to at least try.
Overall the film is actually pretty funny, but dropping lines like "you're actually goodlooking, you just need a bit of eyeliner" is just telling. WOMEN don't need anymore men, dress or not, telling us about "needing makeup"
Shit like that turned me off. Otherwise, it is funny and doesn't go easy on the trans-ridiculousness, however, from a technical stand point, the film does occasionally steer off topic and starts to seem like a silly comedy about male goofball antics, stupid college-boy humor finds its way on there and that's a bit distracting.
So to be clear, I watched to see if it went hard on males playing in female sports and IT DID. That was particularly important and it wasn't missed.
Having said that, the MANY, MANY, bit-parts of the most popular YTubers (LOTS of personalities were featured) did not afford a miss on any of the male back-handed commentary so if you're watching for a home run - this film might make it to short-stop but not much past second base in the female support department.
It's worth seeing if you want to support the idea of people making films that say what they want instead of being dictated on what to say.

It's because it is an #INDEPENDANT #FILM. IF YOU SUPPORT INDEPENDENT FILM MAKERS YOU WILL GET A BETTER QUALITY OUTPUT.
Every movie you see did not come from a giant studio. Many of them are made independently and then sold to large studios for distribution. #DAILYWIRE is hosting/streaming this film and of course, you can't find it on #Netflix #HuLu or the like because they have not made it available and we know why.
So while i dont like everything that was said in this film, i definitely think supporting the film IS WORTH IT.
SHARE IT, SPREAD IT etc... Eventually perhaps the #DailyWire and other platforms that support#freespeech will open up to ARTISTS that are being shut out for simply not agreeing with other ideologies. That's perhaps the most important thing.
