I've been thinking a lot about this piece.

While inspiration resists organization (almost by definition), the opportunities that might court it ...?

I've always said "If I'm not writing, it's because I'm not reading."

I set aside time every day to read, to play games, to unplug and get outside. Part of that is to give my wetware a chance to recover.

But it also opens the door to inspiration, even if it doesn't guarantee it.
