Another one of our rhododendrons is in full bloom now. This one is about twenty feet tall and faces west.
The bushes make a mess as the flowers drop, and the bloom is fairly short-lived, but I feel like the rhododendrons belong here where they thrive naturally. The display is worth the extra mess that sticks to shoes.
