Lotta people doing dry January. I'm doing zero-carb January.
Made it harder that I started the year sick. Annoying cold that is just now starting to go away.
First six days, only steak, burgers, meatballs bone broth and sauerkraut.
Tomorrow might get adventurous with some canned sardines (packed in water.)
Plan is also to use as an elimination diet, add back each thing slowly, see if any causes a reaction. Problem is there are too many things to add back, so the process would take a year or more to do properly, and I'm just adding in things like coffee, avocados, eggs this month. Then before a trip in the middle of Feb, I'll add back salads and fruit.
Will hold off on dairy and grains, save them for last.
Hope it gets interesting a few weeks in, but so far, I can't really tell because as I said I've been sick,
