Update, I am getting my full 35 weeks of paternity and I am going to be getting 55% of my normal pay. It was a mix up on the government side. They used a previous employer instead of the employer I work for now. Which explains the difference in the amount as I make 3x what I did my last company. Even though the government made the mistake, will need to wait an additional few weeks for it to start. So for the next 3 weeks I'm broke. Time to figure out a short term fix lol.
