I already see it with Copilot and using LLMs to suggest source code. People don't learn to code, anymore. They don't understand what they're looking at, they can't bug fix anything, and they'd never be able to reproduce it, because they didn't even bother to type it in. That's probably one major reason why so much software is now buggy and stays that way, or has nonsensical workflows.

We have that effect with test reports. We used to mentally digest the test results and summarize them. Now, my colleagues like to ask an LLM. So, they never really think through the results and can't describe them to you.

People will say this doesn't matter, but I still cook my food from scratch.
