I've never had an excellent ribeye steak. Every one I've ever eaten has come in at just above, somewhat below, or just at "adequate". I love beef, but I'm not a ribeye fan. I recommend all packages of ribeye steaks from here forward carry the subtitle "Get used to disappointment."*
