Almost two years ago I left my job as a web developer because I was generally disillusioned with my work. I spent the last two years just waiting tables and hacking on whatever I want.
- mostly making govt datasets easily accessible

I don't... regret it.... so to speak? I'm happier, healthier, I have a reason to wake up in the morning. Except- now I am a waiter with 5 websites and no money.
