I love how people are like “it wouldn’t make any sense for the U.S. to do a strategic bitcoin reserve due to the dollar as global reserve asset and power of the printer anyway”
Ok, so let’s say you think it doesn’t make any rational sense. Surely governments and politicians haven’t acted irrationally or in self-interest to garner votes or personal wealth, right…?
I see it as the SBR will happen because it makes sense strategically for the U.S. in some way, OR it will happen because of political and personal self-interest. Amount and timeline will vary, but I think it happens.
