book sites must think i'm an easy A because all my books are 3-4 stars, like that town where everyone's kids are above average. what they don't see is the legions of books being thrown back that would have grown up to be 1-2 star reads. i don't have time for meh books, and it's unfair for me to publicly shade them as meh when i didn't give them long enough to prove themselves. a book has to make me really, really angry to get a bad rating
