from time to time, nostr seems less active. from time to time, old nostriches post less often. from time to time, activity and engagement seem down. is that the case? perhaps from time to time, but overall, over the last 6 months, nostr is about the same or even slightly higher in weekly active users.

we see other networks growing, outpacing nostr, but no one said decentralization was going to be easy. we have a massive uphill battle ahead of us, and we're mostly going forward without a clear path, making our own as we push forward.

it's okay to struggle. this helps define the problems that need to be resolved.

i haven't been saying to create notes and send zaps every single day for the past two years, because i have nothing else to say. i say it, because it's a constant reminder that all of you, every single npub, to continue contributing, because this *IS* hard and *YOUR* contributions do matter.

nostr's not dead and has a bright future ahead.
