When smol dog was Very Smol, she absolutely adored sticks. She was completely obsessed with them. Obsessed to the point of once trying to dig up a tree root because she *had* to have it. (The tree was fine, it's only a little younger than me.) And then over time she stopped caring and pretty much grew out of it.
Until tonight, when she's just found a stick she Had To Have. She grabbed it, pranced around, waved it at me, and then dragged me home to put it safe by the door in case she lost it. 🤣
