2023-07-06 — Construction Day 5
Today I made a short (5m) stream on Twitch explaining why there wouldn’t be any progress reports today! I am still very sick and Nick also felt like he needed a rest (slept until 13:00 haha) so we took a day off and visited the beach/deich!
We still began working again ~19:30 until 22:00 to fix some minor issues, and every server can be reached via SSH now AND the server that’ll run Mastodon can now be reached via IPv6 already but Nick had problems assigning an IPv4 address to it.
We will also begin working together with npub14wcgyflwlnfqm3z7dmxvtt9ss78t4pc3nwdmnuat468ztp3lls9quy3mlh (npub14wc…3mlh) who can help with setting up the server in many ways!
However, until the hardware works well, we can’t begin setup the software, so that’ll have to wait for some time.
My illness has become worse sadly, lots of coughing etc. Not sure if I can work tomorrow.
We will overcome the current struggles and make #MastodonDE a reality, soon!
