An admin announcement (this is also related to the sharkey project). We are splitting up the financials for the sharkey project and the instance, as they are two different entities now. I do not like "flagship" instances, and I did not like the lack of transparency for an open source project to be tied closely to the financials of a privately run instance. I commented in reply to a chaos.social user (but it was a follower only reply so I'll repost my reply here).
